Our expansion of the Young Artists Debut! has been an outstanding success. We proudly present our exceptional 2025 class of thirteen Young Artists Debut! Winners! Support these awesome artists by buying tickets to attend the Young Artists Debut! Concert & Showcase on Wednesday, May 21, at The Reser!
WINNING ENSEMBLE
Taiko, will be performing an original piece titled “Sora no Tori” (A Bird in the Universe), written by their Takohachi director, Yumi Torimaru. Karen Craig will perform on the Shamisen (Japanese string instrument), Jin Nakajima will perform on the Shinobue (Japanese bamboo flute), and Calvin Stuczynski will be playing Taiko (Japanese Drums).




INSPIRING WINNING PERFORMING ARTISTS
You will not want to miss an awe-inspiring performance by Bharatanatyam Dancer Shriya Marla. Shriya will be performing an excerpt from Hanuman Chalisa Varnam, a Hindu devotional hymn praising the monkey God Hanuman. Written by Sage Tulsidas, adapted by Mr. Srivatsa Debur and Choreographed by Ms. Sivagami Vanka (teacher) from Kalabharathi School of Dance
Pianist Ciel Kim and Pianist Sean Kim are performing pieces that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Pianist Samuel Lipke has long yearned to learn how to play intense Scherzo! He is excited to share it with you all.
Saxophonist Jacob Peizner will play jazzy solo piece - or two.
The incredibly poised and multi-talented Trombonist Elaina Stuppler will play an incredibly fun piece to entrance you. Elaina is the only Trombonist to win in the Young Artists Debut's! 31-year history!






WINNING VISUAL ARTISTS
As a part of the Young Artists Debut! Concert & Showcase on May 21st at The Reser, you will be able to visit the Artists Alley and explore their incredible creativity up close. From Chloe's remarkable crochet creatures, sculptures, and still life paintings, Evelyn's evocative life-like paintings and sculptures, Miriam's hyper-realistic line drawings, and Hazel's world-building anime-inspired creations, be inspired by these young artists and inspire the young artists in your life! There will be a Q & A session with these exceptional artists. You will also see how the other performing artists on stage have inspired them to create new works!
