The 31st (2025) Young Artists Debut! Application will be available 11/30/2024!

There will be three distinct paths to apply to be Young Artists Debut! Winners:

YAD! 31 - This will be as in previous years for classical instrumentalists ages 10-18 who will apply in ensembles of three or more. The piece you apply with will be the piece you will perform at the Young Artists Debut! It must be twelve minutes or less and be in the public domain so that we can professionally record your performance. A panel of qualified judges will review applications, provide feedback, and select the finalists to compete in the live audition round. 

YAD! for Visual Artists - This application will be for visual artists ages 10-18 to showcase their creativity and talent. Qualified visual artists will review portfolios, provide feedback, and interview applicants. Applicants can be painters, ceramists, drawers, graphic artists, you name it! Share your talents. 

YAD! for Performing Artists - This application will be for dancers, actors, singers, other non-classical musicians, and performers ages 10-18 to showcase their creativity and talent. Ensembles are encouraged but not required to apply. Qualified judges will review applications, provide feedback, and interview finalists.

All who apply to be Young Artists Debut! Winners are welcome to participate in program activities and events. Winners receive benefits such as a professional headshot, portfolio review and guidance, stipend for supplies (visual artists), a scholarship, mentoring from judges, the opportunity to work with an create new art with other YAD! Winners.
